    I’m in LOVE.

I am here via A Sort of Fairytale and not only am I in love, but also deeply envious. I had a sewing room in our former home, but when we downsized, I lost a permanent place to work.

Your living room is wonderful too. On my project list is a new quilt and I might just copy some of your ideas.

I will be back – stalking you – for ideas.

Many THANKS for divulging where you’ve found your things. I did a big “whhooohooo” when I saw Harbor Freight has the hardware spinny thing!!!!! Got right on line and found four in my area….off I go !

  69. Rebecca October 12, 2013 at 9:10 pm #

I’ve needed inspiration to get going on cleaning up the basement and creating my craft/sew/scrap room. I have many similar type of furniture to crate the area. Bring on winter, so I feel like I can be inside. Now all that I need to do is haul out all of my husbands junk before I get going. Yea! Amazing inspiration….
    Thank you,
    Rebecca

How did you make the “scraps” label on the jar.?

      • Maple & Magnolia February 8, 2014 at 9:50 pm #

The backing is from a tiny 2×3 pad by Martha Stewart (Michaels) (I had to piece 2 together to get it long enough) and the puffy letters are also Martha from Michaels. Hope that helps!

  70. Jenny February 10, 2014 at 9:25 pm #

I just found your blog. LOVE IT!!!! What a wonderful designed space! Would you mind sharing where the thread holder came from?! Thank you so much!

    Jenny

    • Maple & Magnolia February 10, 2014 at 9:50 pm #

Hi Jenny! Thanks…it is a Martha Stewart from Home Decorators. Hope that helps.

      • Jenny February 10, 2014 at 9:52 pm #

        Sure does! Thanks again!

  71. Carmen March 17, 2014 at 3:34 pm #

  72. Rose Schneider March 18, 2014 at 11:41 pm #

You’re room is so calm and peaceful. I love all the light colors. I also love your clear display case, chest of drawers and wrapping station. Where did you get all the furniture? I am in the process of building a craft room and need help.
    Thanks so much for sharing~!!

    • Maple & Magnolia March 19, 2014 at 1:17 pm #

Hi Rose, the green cabinet, white gift wrap cabinet and cutting table are all from Home Decorators (Martha Stewart collection). The white sewing table is Ikea. The vintage white cabinet (also holding fabric) and blue chest were craigslist and antique shop finds. Hope this helps!
