sea glass pushpins

Boring pushpins were not an option for my new pin board. It needed something stylish and snazzy.

So I put on my thinking cap and came up with some “sea glass” pushpins.

No, they aren’t real sea glass but definitely remind of it.

Here’s how…

These glass gems are found in the craft section of WalMart and are around $3 per bag.

Grab some gems, some thumbtacks and a hot glue gun

Flip the gem over so that the flat side is up. Put a dab of hot glue onto the gem.

Set a thumbtack onto the hot glue.

Happy Monday.

Super cute! Do you have a source for the fabric? I love the colors.

So easy and so cute! I used legos on tacks once for my son’s room. Yours are much classier! Love your work.

    Good going, Alabama girl!

Thanks so much! I’m still new to blogging, but trying to learn. I’m sure all of Canada would cry if you left, but there’s no place like home!
