winter white

tap tap tap…

is thing thing on??? πŸ˜‰

Boy did I have a nice, long blog break!Β Thank you for all the nice messages and emails making sure I’m okay. I’m A-Ok. Excited for a new year…I love fresh starts.

Speaking of fresh, I’ve been refreshing our kitchen adding touches of white, silver, grey, and some shimmery mercury glass.

I found this antique trunk at my friend’s shop in the fall.

It’s the perfect shade of grey with a zinc top. Love the worn chippiness.

The pine cabinet never changes drastically…I just add different elements in, depending on the season.

I love the freshness of white and silver with pops of green.

I’ve been searching for cubbies to display my silver baby cups and other things I collect.

I would have preferred to find something old, but got impatient. I’m happy with these PB cubbies and feel they are a good value for the price.

Found these beautiful white tulips at Trader Joe’s (my favorite fresh flower source) for $4.99/bunch.

TheΒ little white pitcherΒ is from Target.

I hope your new year is going swimmingly.

DId you get the PB cubbies in black? I have been eyeing those cubbies for years, I keep waiting to find a vintage one… I haven’t to date, and may give up on that and order the PB too.

Yes, but they come in wood too. Our island and vent hood are black so I wanted to tie in to those. I’m really happy with them and they were super easy to hang (which isn’t always the case)! Enjoy your day! πŸ™‚

Love the post about freshening up after Christmas! I have done that for years. In the midst of a ND winter that usually has quite a lot of snow/white outside the windows, I loved ‘whitening up’ the interior as well. A fresh new start to the New Year!

I just bought tulips too! They last so long and are so pretty!
